Faces 12 - North Light Portraits.
Many thanks to my friend and gaffer, Senol Toz, who, with me, designed a semi-portable north-light tent for this series of photographs. Senol, whom I have known since first coming to Turkey, has an amazing appreciation of light, and even when, in those early days when neither of us spoke the other's language, he would almost supernaturally understand what my rough drawings and gesticulations meant in terms of what lighting was required of him.

Potions 5 - Wine and breaking bottle.
This shot was achieved in camera and, other than a tiny white reflection removed from the glass, has had no retouching.
